Tango

Meet Tango; 12 years old and still full of beans. I think everyone likes Dalmatians. How could you not? They are so cool! Dalmatians are a very unique breed. They always have cool names and they have that whole firedog/101 culture behind them. This photo session was the result of a gift certificate given as a Christmas present. It has been so incredibly cold here that it took a while to get a good day for it. And even though it was a beautiful sunny day, it was still freezing and I couldn’t feel my hands during the outdoor shots! Like most Dalmatians I have known, Tango was a little unsure about looking directly at the camera at first, but before you knew it, he was all smiles. What a sweetheart.

Lazy Maggie

I’ve created a monster. Our dogs are not allowed on the furniture, which means they wait until we leave the room. But lately, because I have taken to weekend naps with Maggie, she now pretty much lives on our bed. I even have to call her for dinner, then wait… then THUD and she’s on her way. Unlike our other dog Charlotte who starts shadowing me an hour before feeding time. So today as I was cleaning my house I walked into my room and there she was, head down and guilty, with just the tip of her tail wagging. The room was filled with natural light and the bed wasn’t made… BEAUTIFUL! So what did I do? Dumped the vacuum and ran for my camera. I didn’t really have to run mind you. It’s not like she was going to get down.
